Shortly for the opening for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver the next Winter Games 2011 in January are on a perfect way. Seven sport and the very first time ice-hockey and speed-skating will be offered.

Mayor Greg Piper from Lake Macquarie sent a letter of intent to host the first International Children´s Games ever in Australia in 2014.
The 5th Winter ICG will be held in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, in January 2011.
