The Games 2011 were awarded to North and South Lanarkshire, Scotland at the Committee meeting in San Francisco. The Committee of the International Children's Games is highly motivated to start the planning with the Organizing committee. The hospitality of Scotland awaits the children of the world.
The cities of Montreux/Vevey, Switzerland will be holding the 4th Winter Games February 19th - 22nd, 2009. Check their website. The revival of the Winter Games is in very competent hands and intents to participate are coming in on a daily basis.
There have been 3 new letters of intent to host Games submitted to the ICG:
Uzhgorod, Ukraine
Tralee, Ireland
Joure/Heerenween, Netherlands
It will be up to the ICG Committee to reply and advance these very honorable intents.
The Summer Games 2009 will be held from June 23-28. Please visit the Athens website.
There will be a Technical-Commission meeting in Graz, Austria October 23-25, 2008.
An Executive-Committee meeting is planned April 23 -26, 2009 in Patras, Greece.
The next Committee meeting will be held during the Games in Athens on June 23, 2009.
Our General Assembly with elections of our Committee will be held on June 24, 2009.
