The Games 2008 have been awarded to San Francisco, California USA.


Bahrain, 2010
The Games have been awarded to Manama, Bahrain for 2010. The unanimous decision was made
at the Committee meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland. The representatives of the City of Manama, Bahrain
were very happy about the unanimous decision that a picture was taken by Richard Smith with the entire
Committee and the representatives of Bahrain.


Athens, Greece

The Games have been awarded to the city of Athens, Greece at the Committee meeting in Bangkok 2006.
The ICG will be invited the beginning of November to Athens, Greece to introduce the Organizing Committee
to the Executive-Committee.

Macau, China visit

Macau, China Visit
The city of Macau, Republic of China invited President Torsten Rasch and Secretary General Richard
Smith to visit Macau during the FIVB Women's Volleyball Grand Prix which was held from August 17-19,
2007. During this stay the city of Macau and its Sport Development Board were so kind to introduce
the infrastructure and sport facilities to the ICG.


Lanarkshire, Scotland invites the ICG to a very informative visit

Scotland Visit
In order to emphasize their intentions to host the Games 2011 in North and South Lanakshire, the
cities invited President Torsten Rasch, Treasurer Wolfgang Glenz and Secretary General Richard Smith
to a visit to Scotland. Our above picture shows President Rasch in intensive talks with the Provosts
(Mayors) of North and South Lanarkshire and with the Chief of protocol. (photo by Richard Smith).



The International Children's Games visited the International Olympic Committee to give
its progress report and to discuss a Child Welfare Program with President Jacques Rogge

The Executive-Committee will be holding its yearly meeting from April 11-14, 2008 in Tralee, Ireland.
The kind invitation was extended during the Games in Reykjavik, Iceland.
